Poor field conditions lead to the cancellation of opening DHers
Poor field conditions, notably water pushed up through the infield turf by escaping frost, has forced the cancellation of Anoka Ramsey’s home-opening doubleheaders at Wintercrest Park in Coon Rapids — both Sunday, March 29 and Monday March 30 against Itasca and Vermilion.
The impending winter storm bearing down on central part of the state from the Dakotas also played a part in the decision to cancel Monday’s doubleheader with Vermilion.
Anoka Ramsey players are requested to check in with the athletics office Monday morning for practice instructions Monday and Tuesday afternoons…
