The 2012 Anoka Ramsey baseball season officially commences with a full-team practice 6 a.m., Wednesday, Feb. 15 in the field house. The season-opening games will be played during the spring Arkansas baseball tour in mid-March, while the first local doubleheader is scheduled March 24 against Rainy River College in the Metrodome.

There will be two pre-Feb. 15 sessions for pitchers on consecutive Sunday mornings, Feb. 5 and 12.

Much of the 2012 roster was set after the fall semester practice/tryout session, but late additions to the squad are still possible. Players wanting a tryout should contact the head coach, Tom Yelle, prior to February.
